Ultra’s Common Use solutions provide real benefits to our customers for more than 40 of the world’s biggest commercial airports.

The benefits of Common Use are clear. Having flexible access to terminal equipment allows an airport to enable airlines seamlessly as seasonal schedules change; to move airlines around their site in response to partnerships, alliances or operational needs; and to share the cost of hardware, consumables and maintenance. Just some of the reasons that airports are calling their Common Use systems ‘strategically important’.

Ultra’s CUPPS-compliant Common Use solution can help reduce operating costs; provide seamless business agility and scalability; and increase resilience to disruption events. The system can be deployed as a fully virtualized solution, ensuring operating costs are kept to a minimum – a solution that has been available to our customers since 2010.

Ultra have recently strengthened their partnership with Materna, giving Ultra’s customers access to Materna’s range of leading Passenger and Self Facilitation systems such as CUSS (Common Use Self Service), Secure Self Boarding and Self Bag Drop with payment capability.

"In my role as the common-use systems manager for all of JetBlue's airports, I have intimate knowledge of how all of the Common Use platforms behave from a user's perspective, as well as how each company treats its customers when issues arise such as new applications that must be tested and deployed. I can tell you that working with UltraCUSE is a superior experience in every way and I always have direct access to the engineers who can answer any of my questions immediately."
